Illinois Valley Youth Choir’s website!
The Illinois Valley Youth Choir challenges each child to expand their musical knowledge. Weekly rehearsals emphasize the development of musicianship and vocal technique while performing a wide variety of high quality musical literature. The children develop healthy vocal habits, confidence, self-discipline and a deeper understanding of music.
Registration
Registration is held in the L-P High School choral room. Voice checks are informal and previous musical experience is not required. Registration information is distributed through the school and to previous participants. IVYC holds registration in September and January. Rehearsal Schedule
Rehearsals are on Tuesdays from 5:00 to 6:15 pm.
Performances
Our performances are held at the LaSalle Peru High School Auditorium. Tickets are available for purchase at the door for $4 per adult, $3 per senior or student. Children under Kindergarten age are free.
Seating is first come, first served.
